Using World Class Mixologists
In August 2021, Taiwan faced its first outbreak of Covid. All bars were shut and those in the nightlife industry were heavily affected. We took this opportunity to invite some of the best bartenders and mixologists in Taipei to craft us a "bubble tea-inspired" tea drink (without alcohol). The results... delicious artisanal tea creations using unexpected ingredients and techniques that we now serve at Odd One Out.
Kero is the 2020 Bacardi Legacy Taiwan Champion that has a deep passion for using Taiwanese natural ingredients and infusing them with Taiwanese high mountain teas.
Yann Gueroult, aka Frenchie, is a Taipei-based French cocktail mixologist. He started his bartending career in a speakeasy bar, slinging these American prohibition classics. He then Co-founded R&D cocktail lab, where he had the leisure to research and develop the craft for 7 years. He considers himself a flavorsmith and is always searching for new flavor combinations with the best techniques to bring them to life. Nowadays, he applies his wealth of accumulated knowledge to menu and product development.
Jeffrey is our full-time mixologist; he worked for 5 years as a mixologist at the famous Regent Hotel Gallery bar.
